UK 1937 George VI Silver Crown: The last ever Silver Coronation Crown
The UK 1937 George VI Silver Crown cements itself in English coinage history as the last-ever Silver Coronation Crown ever issued by The Royal Mint. Furthermore, it is one of only two crowns ever issued during George VI’s reign.
Issued to celebrate his Coronation, this Classic coin was the only George VI Crown to be issued in Silver. These coins are incredibly difficult to find and I have only been able to secure a limited stock for our CPM clients.
Here's why it's a CPM recommendation:
• One of only two Crowns issued during George VI's reign
• The only George VI Crown issued in Silver
• Unusual design with crowned quartered shield of arms on the reverse
• Incredibly difficult to find
Given its numismatic interest and history, this will forever be a sought-after piece. With every passing year these coins become increasingly harder to find, so act quickly to secure yours before it’s too late.
